Be Prepared
Always leave the house ready for any encounter. Don't over do the make-up, keep it fresh and natural. Add a pop of red on your lips to get you noticed and make sure that lipstick isn't on your teeth, that's not cute.
Have your hair nicely coiffed. Having a bad hair day? Wear a cute hat as an accent piece. That weave need a touch up, cover it with a scarf tied to the side for a glamour look.
Wear something casual chic like a tee, blazer and jeans. This outfit pairs well with flats, heels, boots or a cute sandal depending on the weather. Add a chunky necklace or some hand-crafted earrings as a conversation piece.
Now you're feeling confident and men can smell that a mile away or an aisle away if your in the hardware store. Didn't you say you needed a hammer and some nails?
Start A Conversation
See someone you like? Make contact, give them a little smile. Introduce yourself and ask a general question. If their not interested no harm done, but if they are it's the start of the dance. Take the lead and see where it goes. And don't forget to check for a wedding band.
Getting or Giving The Number
I'm a little old school and won't ask a guy for his number no matter how good the conversation is going and how confident I'm feeling. I usually stand there during the conversation trying to pass on subliminal messages saying, "Ask for my number! Ask for my number!" Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't. So it's the 21st Century, go for what you want ladies. Get or give that number.
Happy Flirting!
