Taylor Love Tells All ~ Zane, The I.R.S. & Marion Barry

Zane, the IRS and Marion Barry (and I ain’t talking Ménage a trois) 

This week the Washington Post reported that Zane owes back taxes in excess of 5 million dollars. Yes, that’s right 5 million dollars. Now I don’t stand in judgment of her and her fiscal responsibilities. Hell I’ve owed the IRS a few coins in my life too.

My concern is that everything she’s worked so hard for may be lost because of it. She blew the scene up with her erotic books (long before Shades of Grey), started her own publishing company Strebor books, which was later acquired by Simon & Schuster one of the most popular publishing houses. Now that’s now easy feat for our hometown favorite.

Hopefully, she’ll come out of it unscathed and on top (no pun intended).

She is also scheduled to publish a novel about our Nation’s Capital Mayor, Marion Barry, written by Omar Tyree, and her book “Addicted” has been made in to a movie scheduled to be released in March.

Good Food, great ambiance, but if you want a seat at the bar get there early, and I mean 5:30pm - 6:00pm early. 

The bar area fills up fast. If you want the dining experience make reservations or expect a long wait. 

I highly recommend the bar area for singles to meet and mingle, and there seemed to be equal amounts of guys and ladies there. 

Prices aren't that bad either. 

The menu is extensive, I always get the chicken livers. 

Overall a good time!

Taylor Love Tells All ~ The Dating Checklist.

Over the years I've kept a mental sort of checklist of what I wanted in a man. When I was younger the list was long, with very specific attributes. As I got older the list got shorter and more realistic. I  guess by the end of the next decade I will be down to one thing a "PULSE!"

If you are one of those relationship checklist kind of people I understand, after all we must set standards. But is what you want in a mate the same things you have to offer? Remember there might be someone sitting across from you with a checklist of their own.

My second episode of the "Taylor Love Tells All, Love's Tragic Comedy" show aired in August 2013. Well I revisited the topic and found nothing much has changed in the world of cheaters.

We have either been a victim of cheating or cheated ourselves, my self included.
