Taylor Love Tells All: Flirting 101
Taylor Love Tells All: Flirting 101: Flirting has been going on for ages from both genders, but it's time for the ladies to give a nod to the guy or gal she is interes...
Flirting 101
Be Prepared
Always leave the house ready for any encounter. Don't over do the make-up, keep it fresh and natural. Add a pop of red on your lips to get you noticed and make sure that lipstick isn't on your teeth, that's not cute.
Have your hair nicely coiffed. Having a bad hair day? Wear a cute hat as an accent piece. That weave need a touch up, cover it with a scarf tied to the side for a glamour look.
Wear something casual chic like a tee, blazer and jeans. This outfit pairs well with flats, heels, boots or a cute sandal depending on the weather. Add a chunky necklace or some hand-crafted earrings as a conversation piece.
Now you're feeling confident and men can smell that a mile away or an aisle away if your in the hardware store. Didn't you say you needed a hammer and some nails?
Start A Conversation
See someone you like? Make contact, give them a little smile. Introduce yourself and ask a general question. If their not interested no harm done, but if they are it's the start of the dance. Take the lead and see where it goes. And don't forget to check for a wedding band.
Getting or Giving The Number
I'm a little old school and won't ask a guy for his number no matter how good the conversation is going and how confident I'm feeling. I usually stand there during the conversation trying to pass on subliminal messages saying, "Ask for my number! Ask for my number!" Sometimes it works, most times it doesn't. So it's the 21st Century, go for what you want ladies. Get or give that number.
Happy Flirting!

Scorpio Season
The weather is gorgeous, cool and breezy. What could be better?
Me and my bestie Wanda celebrate the entire season from my birthday, October 28th through her birthday, November 20th. We've got the season covered.
She always says I'm the head and she's the tail.
Check out some Scorpio traits:
Looking at the list I find that most are true to form for me except "secretive" and "social" although most would disagree on the "social" trait.
If you're a Scorpio you understand where I'm coming from without us saying a word. We're just built like that. That's the "intuitive" part of being a Scorpio.
And most associate Scorpios with being hyper-sexual. Well I say to them if you are deserving you won't be disappointed.
Vengeful? Yes, we can be and you won't even see it coming. One day we are there the next day, Ghost...
In love with or dating a Scorpio? Don't play games, you will never win. But we are loving and loyal and brutally honest. So you want a take the ride?
Be careful what you ask for.

"Addicted" Our Commentary
Wanda and I were so excited about going to see "Addicted," the movie based on the best-selling erotic novel by Zane.
Neither of us had read the book so we went with wide-eyed anticipation.
"Addicted" is the story of Zoe (Sharon Leal), a beautiful African-American woman who owns her own marketing company and is married to a handsome architect, Jason who is played by Boris Kodjoe. They have two perfect children and their life seems idyllic.
But Zoe's insatiable need and urge for sex sends her in to the arms of Quinton Canosa (William Levy), a reclusive artist who falls for Zoe at first sight and signs with her marketing company. During their first meeting to go over the contract he seduces her and you know the rest of the story. Now she can't stop herself from seeing him even at the detriment of her family and her company.
But Quinton isn't enough, she trolls the night clubs and sees biker-boy Corey, played by Tyson Beckford. Yummy!
Zoe is spinning out of control and enlists the help of a therapist Tasha Smith. Her therapist implores her to get in touch with her past in an effort to understand her present situation. Of course Zoe does not or does not want to remember what brought her to this dark place, while continually rubbing a scar on her wrist.
As expected all her lives collide and her secret is uncovered by her husband and two lovers.
So what happens next? I guess you have to see the movie...

Taylor Love Tells All ~ Cheaters
Today's episode on the "Taylor Love" Show was about cheating.
Cheating is the ultimate betrayal in a relationship. Some of us look inward and wonder what the other person does or have that we don't have. Some times we compare ourselves with the other person. But at the end of the day we just simply wonder why.
We may never know what causes a person to cheat, and if we are the cheater we may have a myriad of reasons we tell ourselves that what we are doing is okay.
At the end of the day it is all so complicated.
If we've been cheated on we wonder will they do it again; can they be trusted? To that I say, base your decision on their actions: Are they where they say they are, do they answer their phone when you call, are they forthcoming with their comings and goings. As the cheater it seems as though you're checking in, your every move is scrutinized, and you have to account for every move and every moment. Well you are right. That's what happens when you're a cheater. You have to rebuild your significant others trust by being totally transparent. How long do you have to be subjected to this scrutiny? As long as it takes to make your significant other to feel comfortable and be able to trust again. And if the relationship is not important enough to do the work, then it's all moot.
If you're the cheater, you have some self analysis to do. Why are you cheating? What is lacking in you that causes you to look outside of the relationship. First you must realize that cheating is not about the other person but it is about you. Certainly you can be single and see who you want, when you want. Why haven't you chosen that option. Self-examination is key.
Once a Cheater, Always A Cheater?
It depends. Some people will be habitual cheaters, It's always the other person's fault that they stray. If your eyes are wide open you can see people for who they really are. "When someone shows you who they are believe them; the first time.” Maya Angelou.

Taylor Love Tells All ~ Ray Rice Scandal
Is it ever okay for a man to hit a woman? The politically correct answer is no, not ever. But is it that simple?
Surely we all agree that Ray Rice was undoubtedly wrong and his actions were not acceptable but I asked some men and women if there is ever a time when it is okay for a man to hit a woman.
Most women say it is never okay unless the man is their son, relative or close friend. "Women need to keep their hands to them selves especially if the person they're hitting is bigger and stronger than them," said one woman. "If a woman hits me she better expect to get hit back," say one guy.
I don't believe in domestic violence by either gender, so keep you hands to yourself and if you are a victim of domestic violence, seek help. You don't have to suffer alone.

Taylor Love Tells All ~ 1 Year and Beyond
What a year it has been! The "Taylor Love Tells All, Love's Tragic Comedy" show debuted
Saturday, July 27, 2013. I was initially supposed to start the week before but I was so nervous that I postponed. Procrastination seems to be one of my endearing qualities.
Well the date was upon me and my first show was about "On-Line Dating." I prepared an entire script and found there was no way I could memorize an entire hours worth of footage. Nervous & anxious I went to bed and just said the hell with it, I'll wing it.
I made it through that first show with the help of Foster, my engineer and Wanda, who was by my side from the beginning.
And that's where it all began.
It's been an exciting ride and someone said it's not about the destination, it's about the journey. I can attest to that.
And now fast forward to our 1st Year Anniversary Party at the Fire Station in Silver Spring, MD.
We've come a long way, met some amazing people, had some ups and downs, more ups than downs thankfully, and have such a promising future.
Thanks to those who supported us, believed in us, gave a word of encouragement or sent us a prayer. We are eternally gratefully.

Saturday, July 12th ~ "Young Gifted & Black" We will be featuring "Untaymed" a young girls performing artist group and "DaKing Nicca" an upcoming rapper. And hopefully we will be announcing the winner of our "Theme Music" Contest. We're very close.

Taylor Love Tells All - What's Trending ~ Dating Your Friend's Ex
But sometimes it’s a little more complicated than that. Maybe you dated and it didn’t work out and they are more suited for each other. Would you be alright with that scenario?
Or would, you be uncomfortable in their presence or listening to stories about how great their relationship is and secretly hoping for the bottom to fall out.
There is no scenario where I would be comfortable with my friends dating my ex or vice versa. There are too many people in the world for us to date someone within our own circle, but that’s just me.

Putting Pen2Paper ~ Monica's Birthday Celebration
I met Wanda’s cousin Monica
last year during Howard Universities Homecoming. We didn’t attend any events
but she came to D.C. with her daughter from New Jersey and we were an instant
hit.
She reminds me a lot of Wanda
but a younger and more outgoing type. And if you knew Wanda you would know that
it’s difficult to outdo her in the outgoing department.
So when Wanda asked me if I
wanted to go on a road trip to Jersey to celebrate Monica’s birthday I jumped
at the chance.
We hit I-95 North on Friday, May
16th, Monica’s actual birthday, attended the festivities (partied
all night) then hit I-95 South as soon as we got up.

Taylor Love Tells All ~ Sherri Shepherd separates from her Husband
People Magazine reported that Sherri Shepherd (The View) and
her husband of almost three years, Lamar Sally, have split – and a legal fight
is brewing over their unborn child. The papers reveal that they are expecting a
boy on July 28, who will be named Lamar Sally Jr. – and that Sally wants full
legal and physical custody of the baby.
Shepherd, 47, told the Tom Joyner Show last June that she and Sally had found a surrogate so that they could have a baby. In addition to asking for custody of the baby, Sally is requesting that Shepherd only gets "reasonable" visitation rights and asked for an order preventing her from interfering with the baby being given to him after he's born.
He has asked for spousal support and for Shepherd to pay his attorney fees. Sally has also asked that the couple's prenup be invalidated based on fraud. Did he say “FRAUD?”
The Daily Mail took things a step further and claimed the source of the breakup could be accusations of
infidelity against Sally. A source told
MailOnline that after the couple’s wedding in 2011, there were reports that he
was romantically involved with a woman who was a close friend of the family.
According to the tabloid, she was even a part of the couple’s wedding party,
and Shepherd had no idea they used to be lovers.

Taylor Love Tells All ~ Orgasms - Fact, Fiction or Faked
What's the Deal on Orgasms?
FACTS:
Orgasm is the sudden discharge of accumulated sexual tension during the sexual response cycle, resulting in rhythmic muscular contractions in the pelvic region characterized by sexual pleasure.
Experienced by males and females, orgasms are controlled by the involuntary or autonomic nervous system. They are often associated with other involuntary actions, including muscular spasms in multiple areas of the body, a general euphoric sensation and, frequently, body movements and vocalizations are expressed. The period after orgasm (known as a refractory period) is often a relaxing experience, attributed to the release of the neurohormonesoxytocin and prolactin, as well as endorphins.
Human orgasms usually result from physical sexual stimulation of the penis in males (typically accompanying ejaculation), and the clitoris in females. Sexual stimulation can be by self-practice (masturbation) or with a sex partner (penetrative sex, non-penetrative sex, or other sexual activity).
FICTION:
Men can't have an orgasm unless they ejaculate.
Having an orgasm and ejaculating are two different things. They usually happen together. For many men, a powerful ejaculation is the best part of an orgasm. Other men keep feeling the orgasm well after they release semen. After age 40, a man may ejaculate less, but he can still have orgasms.
How long does a woman usually take to orgasm during sex?
Women generally need longer to have an orgasm than men, who take about 7 to 14 minutes. These are just averages, of course. You may be faster or slower, and it can be different from one time to the next.
Women can have multiple orgasms, but men can't.
Men younger than 30 are more likely than older men to have multiple orgasms.
After an orgasm, most men need a rest period before they can get another erection. If he's older, it may be a few hours. But if he's younger, he may be up and ready in a few minutes.
About how many women orgasm from sex alone?
Those passionate movie scenes where women reach the pinnacle at the perfect time during sex? Doesn't usually happen in real life.
Most women need more than just penetration to get there.
To see the real fireworks, most women need stimulation of the clitoris as well. Sometimes the position you use during sex can make the difference. But some women just don't have an orgasm during sex, ever. Whichever way you go can be normal.
Finding the G-spot means you'll have better sex.
The Grafenberg spot -- the infamous G-spot that may or may not be a super-sensitive part inside a woman's vagina -- hasn't ever been proved. At least one study claims to have found it, but even if it's really there, that doesn't mean a woman would automatically respond to it. Not all women are sensitive in the same ways. If you've found it, and you like it, then more power to you.
If a man masturbates too much, he won't be able to have an orgasm during sex.
There's no such thing as "too much" masturbation -- not really. As long as it doesn't get in the way of your daily life, it can't physically hurt you. Masturbation helps some people learn about orgasms, and it doesn't prevent a guy from having one during sex.
Orgasms can add years to your life.
Some large studies have shown that both men and women who have orgasms often live longer than those who don't.
A woman can have an orgasm and not know it.
Sweating, panting, moaning, body vibrations – they're classic signs of an orgasm. But orgasms can be milder, too. Instead of feeling a volcanic eruption, you may just reach a peak of arousal and then feel relaxed and contented. Focus on what you do feel, and enjoy it.
Condoms can affect a guy's orgasm.
Using a condom may make sex feel different, especially if a guy is used to having it without one. But a guy can learn to have orgasms while wearing a condom. Don't stop at the first brand you buy. Experiment with other types -- thickness and shape vary -- until you find one that you like. Extra lubrication can make condom use easier, too.
FAKING:
Men can't fake it.
It may be harder for men to fake it, but about 25% say they sometimes do.
About half of women say they have.
Women fake it more often during intercourse than with other kinds of sex.
Men may fake it instead of admitting they're not interested, unable to stay hard, or just plain tired.

Also, musical guest Ron Isley, Chrisette Michele and Tamar Braxton brought the house down.
Hear all about it on Episode 31 of the "Taylor Love Tells All, Love's Tragic Comedy" show Saturday, March 22nd on ListenVisionLive.com.
